Our Compact Asian Technology for TrueType® (CATT™) fonts require a small memory footprint without sacrificing style and aesthetics. The characters used in East Asian scripts contain multiple instances of the same radicals or parts of characters. Unlike traditional TrueType fonts, CATT™ fonts store these radicals just once. Our Edge™, SmartHint™ and stroke-based technologies also take advantage of this capability.

CATT fonts match the style of a traditional TrueType font, but they are much smaller in file size. CATT fonts are available in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages.
